Hop for Hope

This year’s Hop for Hope event at Lenderink Tree Farm was nothing short of incredible. Thanks to the generosity and support of our community, $1,225 was raised to help Saving Souls Pet Alliance provide rescue, care, and second chances for animals who need it most.

From the moment the event began, the space was filled with energy, laughter, and connection. There was a full lineup of activities, including a raffle, scavenger hunt, and Easter egg hunt (with over 4,000 eggs). The vendor market, along with Olly’s Donuts, Patty Matters, and Red Raven Coffee, created the perfect backdrop for a day of fun with friends and family.

One of the most meaningful moments of the day was the return of Koa, the Lenderink family’s former foster pup. Watching her reunite with familiar faces, and meet current foster pups Emmit and BJ, was a powerful reminder of why this work matters.

We also celebrated a huge milestone for Downy, who made her very first event appearance. After everything she’s been through, seeing her confidently show off her tricks and soak up the attention was incredibly special. She is a true example of resilience and the power of compassionate care.

More than anything, Hop for Hope was a reflection of what can happen when a community shows up for animals, for rescues, and for each other. Every egg hidden, every raffle ticket purchased, every conversation shared contributed to something bigger.

A very special thank you to the Lenderink Tree Farm family for hosting and creating such a welcoming space for this event. All your time, handwork and support made this day possible!

We are so grateful for everyone who attended, donated and volunteered. This is what it looks like when a village comes together!
